Celebrate the small things

Hi all and happy Friday. This week my celebration is an easy choice. Our youngest is coming home from uni this weekend for the Easter break. So looking forward to seeing her and catching up.

In other news, I finally spent a *pleasant* evening scrubbing the tiles in the shower. Hard work but satisfying!

The cherry tree in the front garden is starting to blossom. So pretty.

  3. I certainly see how a visit from your daughter would be something to celebrate. I had to laugh at the idea of scrubbing bathroom tiles as being a "pleasant" way to spend an evening. I guess it's all in your perspective and feeling the thrill of accomplishment. Go you!

    1. The thrill is most definitely in the end result - although it was kind of a good workout as well!

  16. Hi Suzanne,

Nothing more fun than scrubbing tiles in the shower. Have a wonderful Easter with your daughter.

Cherry tree blossoms and the blossoms leave a gathering of "pink snow".

  18. Enjoy the time with your offspring. Well done on finding some joy in scrubbing tiles. I often turn to cleaning the bath when I'm feeling angry. It's amazing how shiny it gets when I've channelled my energy in its direction.
