In other news, I finally spent a *pleasant* evening scrubbing the tiles in the shower. Hard work but satisfying!
The cherry tree in the front garden is starting to blossom. So pretty.

Hi Suzanne - well done re the shower - yugghy job! How fabulous to see your daughter home and have some wonderful times together .. and yes the cherries are blossoming slowly as the trees are greening ..
ReplyDeleteCheers Hilary
Yeah, not my favourite job - that's why it gets put off!
DeleteHave a wonderful week-end Suznne, lots of news to catch up one.
ReplyDeleteLots of gossiping no doubt!
DeleteI certainly see how a visit from your daughter would be something to celebrate. I had to laugh at the idea of scrubbing bathroom tiles as being a "pleasant" way to spend an evening. I guess it's all in your perspective and feeling the thrill of accomplishment. Go you!
ReplyDeleteThe thrill is most definitely in the end result - although it was kind of a good workout as well!
DeleteEnjoy the time with your daughter.
ReplyDeleteWant to come scrub my tub?
Send me the plane ticket, Alex!
DeleteEnjoy your time with your youngest daughter, Suzanne!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Rachna.

I hope we will, Tyrean. Thank you.
DeleteI never knew there was 'the right mood for scrubbing' ? I bypass that mood entirely! :)

DeleteHi Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteNothing more fun than scrubbing tiles in the shower. Have a wonderful Easter with your daughter.
Cherry tree blossoms and the blossoms leave a gathering of "pink snow".
Gary :)
Hi Gary, nice to hear from you. I like the idea of pink snow!
DeleteHave a lovely Easter break with your daughter. I kind of get what you mean about the tiles - hard work but worth it!
ReplyDeleteIt's a weird kind of satisfaction, Annalisa!
DeleteEnjoy the time with your offspring. Well done on finding some joy in scrubbing tiles. I often turn to cleaning the bath when I'm feeling angry. It's amazing how shiny it gets when I've channelled my energy in its direction.
ReplyDeleteI'm imagining the smell of those blossoms! They must be wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your daughter. I spent Easter deep cleaning my kitchen and it was wonderful.
