I would just like to take the opportunity to thank Viklit for being a wonderful host for the past two years. It is such a simple way to remind ourselves of all those small celebrations that are so easily forgotten. Why not join in and let the positive thoughts shine through! For full details and to sign up just head over to Lexa's blog.
This week I am celebrating;
* Getting back into exercise after the Christmas break. I have been doing yoga for a few years now and find it really beneficial. I only took up aerobiking last Autumn but it is good for the legs! I went on Wednesday and I can certainly feel it!
* Central heating and thick jumpers. Brrrrr .....
* I have planned a writing session for this evening. Looking forward to a couple of quiet hours to work on my ms editing.
Happy weekend everyone.
The linky I have is incorrect - I'm just now stopping by.
ReplyDeleteExercise is good for me too. I take long walks around my property. Yes to central heating! Have a great weekend and I hope you get that editing time, as planned. Thanks, Suzanne.
Thank you and happy weekend to you.
DeleteSounds like you've made a good start to the New Year already. I haven't got any further than watching all the early morning joggers as I sit and drink my coffee. But I watch them with admiration - and the vague intention of moving my lazyass self at some point...
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion jogging is a spectator sport, I don't think my knees would cope with it!
DeleteTime to wear off the over-indulgence of the holidays...
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is!
DeleteYoga sure does help indeed, always nice to get some writing time in
ReplyDeleteBrrr...is right!! I need to get back to exercising too! Have a good writing session this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to get back into more exercising too. I've been taking more walks, which I love to do. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're biking in winter? Yikes! You're one tough lady. Good luck with the exercising and with the writing session!
ReplyDelete(There were a few incorrect links in the Linky - including yours.I edited and everything's fixed now!)
A planned writing session, warm jumper, and exercise. Sounds really good. I sometimes do yoga with Wii Fit Plus. Mostly use my treadmill.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to exercise more this year, but I really need to get back into yoga. Now to move some furniture around to make room...
ReplyDeleteI must get back to yoga. It made such a difference in attitude and relaxation. And hurrah for your writing stretch this evening - I hope it gives you even more to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteI just signed up for a writer's conference that offers yoga one of the mornings- I have declined to embarrass myself, lol! Hope the writing went well!
ReplyDeleteI'm really loving my central heating and thick jumpers at the moment!
ReplyDeletefirst happy new year!
ReplyDeletesecond, hope your cornish fantasy is coming along.
and third, yay for yoga! exercise does a body & mind good!
It is time to take control over ourselves again instead of the holidays saying who goes.
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know I nominated you for an award. Please stop by my blog:dhdunne.blogspot.com to find out more. Congratulations!
That's great about the exercise! I should probably attempt some of that myself, but...well, I'm lazy. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHope your writing's been going well! :)
Without exercise I become a blob of inactivity--mentally as well as physically. It's so a part of my life that I can't imagine living without it. Good for you for re-establishing that active part of your routine.
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteA healthy mind and body. You exercise your writing and you exercise your overall well being. Well done, you. Good thing, speaking of central heating, that the prices are being lowered.
Take care, my kind friend.
Gary :)
My only exercise is walking the dog for an hour a day. I power-walk though, so I feel it's at least something. It's not enough, but it's something. :)
