And, as it's Friday, it's time to celebrate the past week's achievements. This week I am celebrating my acting debut! Now, before Angelina Jolie starts shaking in her heels, I have to admit the part I played was the back end of a cow in the school play! I hope it wasn't typecasting! It was fun though.
The strawberries are still fruiting and the sun is still shining so, although I haven't completed much actual writing this week, I am feeling good.
Happy weekend everyone!
Everyone has to start somewhere. I bet even Angelina Jolie had to play some pretty terrible (and unseen) roles before she made it big. She may even have been a cow's rear end at some stage.
ReplyDeleteAnd fresh strawberries are always something to celebrate! Especially if you have some champagne to drown them in.
I wonder if she did!
DeleteNothing wrong with being a farm animal! Sounds like you had fun.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun, the kids thought it was hilarious!
DeleteYou made me laugh with your typecasting comment!! Congrats on your debut and I'm sure your cow's back end was a brilliant part of the play. :D
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun and congratulations on your award. Enjoy the weekend!
Thanks Julie. It raised a few laughs!
DeleteWow Suzanne! Thank you! I've already received this award, but now I'll put both of your names and links on it when I finish that tab on my blog...which I haven't yet. Congrats on the strawberries! Glad you visited my garden today.
ReplyDeleteTina @ Life is Good
You're very welcome, Tina. Enjoy your weekend.
DeleteI'm so honored!! Thank you, Suzanne for the awesome award!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your acting debut, even if it was the back-end of a cow! Angelina Jolie watch-out! And sometimes we need a break from writing to get our heads together.
Yes a break is good sometimes. Thanks for dropping by today.
DeleteTypecasting... lol
ReplyDeleteAngelina should be nervous ;)
Congrats on the award and on feeling good!
Hehe, it was fun!
DeleteCongrats on the award and sure even your barn yard animal canbut her to shame lol
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat :)
DeleteAwards are always worth celebrating. Congratulations, Sue ... let me know when you get your book winnings in the mail. :)
ReplyDeleteI will David, I'm looking forward to reading it.
DeleteCongratulations on your acting debut, Suzanne! Wait till Angelina finds out about it. She may be quaking in her shoes! Glad your strawberries are still thriving, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Thanks Deanie and thanks again for passing the award my way.
DeleteCongrats on the award! I'm glad the sun and strawberries are all in party mode.
ReplyDeleteThe back half of a cow? Really? I don't believe it -- you'll have to post a picture to prove it to us!!! :-)
I'll see if I can get hold of a copy!
DeleteCongratulations on your blogger award and don't worry about playing the back end of a cow. Things can only look up from there and we all have to start from somewhere. Look at the seed and how it grows into a tree. Angelina's had her time and she is making room for you. I did chuckle though.
ReplyDeleteThanks RPD maybe next time I'll get to play the front end! lol.
DeleteCongrats on your award and thank you for the nomination, that is v. kind.
ReplyDeleteAnd hurrah to the acting debut! Even Angelina started somewhere.
You're welcome. Don't think I'll be collecting any Oscars any time soon but it was fun to do!
DeleteCongratulations on the award.

Judging by all these upbeat comments, cows are good--from any end! If we don't accept the parts we are offered, how will we get up that ladder? Or, in your case, that udder...sorry, couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteSincere congratulations!
Haha very good thanks for dropping in Inge, nice to meet you :) Leave me your blog details and I'll visit you!
DeleteI love fresh strawberries!
ReplyDeleteAnd the only time I would worry is if I would type cast as a horse's rear end.
yay congrats !!!!
