Celebrate the small things

Anything made you smile this week? Big or small it's time to celebrate.

It's nature in all it's glory that I am celebrating this week.

I'm enjoying watching the birds nesting outside my bedroom window. So lovely to see them raising their little family and even their early morning twittering is a nice way to be woken up in the morning!

Last weekend, whilst out for a walk, I saw a large group of dolphins playing in the bay. Such an uplifting sight.

The squirrel has been visiting our garden again.

Finally, I'm celebrating having the chance to visit somewhere new this weekend. More on that next time!

                                                      Happy weekend

Thanks to Lexa and her lovely co-hosts

  5. Hi Suzanne - that pod of Dolphins must have been amazing ... while the early and late light is bliss - the songsters just make it delightful. Enjoy your treat this weekend - cheers Hilary

  6. Spring is in full bloom where I live as well. I've enjoyed seeing the baby Canadian geese and mute swans (even spotted one youngster on its parent's back in the water). Last night I saw the most beautiful cat in our yard. Don't know if it belongs to a neighbor or is lost. I probably go a little nuts worrying about it, but at least I can offer food.

  8. Dolphins?! Wow! We have them here in the Red Sea, which is very warm, and I didn't know they liked cooler waters too. We have birds in a tree right outside our window too. My husband isn't a fan of twittering that wakes him up. LOL!

  11. Watching dolphins is the best, isn't it? I have a squirrel that sits outside my window while I try to write and he chatters at me until I pay him some attention every morning. I'm wondering if he's my muse in disguise.

  12. I adore nature. My baby has been teething for the last week, and accordingly, very cuddly. That's been awesome and not so much at the same time.

But for me, I'm celebrating a review of my debut novel I stumbled across (unexpectedly) today. It always feels nice to hear good things about your hard work, eh?

  13. Super jealous that you're able to see dolphins while you take a walk. I would love to live that close to the ocean. I did see a little fledging crow, huddled at the base of the school building I teach in as I was cleaning out my classroom this Monday (campus school). The little guy's parents hovered close by, tending him whenever I was out of their way. Hopefully by now he's found his wings and joined his family in the trees.
