Sorry I didn't post last week, no particular reason, I just ran out of time! It is quite worrying that the weeks seem to be speeding by at such a rate.
This week I am highlighting the following as reasons to celebrate:
* I have been wearing my new glasses for a week now and I have adjusted to the new lenses. I took a photo, but at the time of writing this post, it doesn't want to up load! I'll try and add it later.
* I am loving the smell of my 'Fairy Dust' scented candle. A perfect accompaniment to a writing session.
* It's the weekend! Tired this week and so looking forward to a bit of free time over the weekend and hoping the sore throat I seem to have developed doesn't get any worse.

Wishing you all a happy and peaceful weekend.
Hope your sore throat disappears, Have a great quiet week-end.
ReplyDeleteWould love to sample the fairy dust scented candle. Sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteIf only I could smell your fairy dust scented candle. My sinus are so stuffed... I wish I could smell the honey lemon tea I'm drinking at 6:00 in the morning. I don't think it's helping, but I've got to try something.
ReplyDeleteTake care of that soar throat. Tea with lemon and honey definitely does wonders for that!
Hi Suzanne .. hope the sore throat eases up - and it's Mother's Day .. some cosseting due from somewhere! So pleased the new glasses are working out .. cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, it's great you got the glasses!
ReplyDeleteA 'Fairy Dust' scented candle - have never smelled one.
Oops, take care of that throat - lemon drops?
have a restful weekend.
Fairy dust candle - that is so cool! I wonder what fairy dust smells like. I hope your sore throat goes away and you have a wonderful weekend! I'm looking forward to that new glasses pic! :)
ReplyDeleteYuck, sore throats are painful. Lots of water or I hear tea with honey helps. Hope it turns out to be a nice weekend!!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel good for the weekend. Just what does fairy dust smell like?
ReplyDeleteFairy dust has a smell? Can it make you fly too? Hopefully the germs go away.
ReplyDeleteOoo..the candle sounds nice. What kind of smell is fairy dust? Here's hoping that the bug stays away!
ReplyDeleteI want to know what fairy dust smells like, too! Hope your sore throat goes away. I feel like I might be getting one as well :(
ReplyDeleteI too want to know what Fairy Dust smells like! And I agree the weeks are zooming by - I hope they slow down once the summer comes :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne, I can recommend honey and lemon in hot water to soothe your throat, Manuka honey if you have it...
ReplyDeleteDo have an easy relaxing weekend. Sending healing vibes to you.
Best wishes that the sore throat doesn't develop anything and that you can really enjoy your week-end. Like the others, I would like to know what fairy dust smells like. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, thanks for stopping by today. What does fairy dust smell like you say? Takes big sniff of lovely candle. Well, a bit like flower blossom with a hint of sweetness. Imagine taking a walk beneath the cherry trees in springtime, that's what fairies smell like. Heavenly :)
ReplyDeleteyay for glasses and scented candles! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHope your sore throat gets better! "Fairy Dust" sounds like a great candle :)
ReplyDeleteA Fairy Dust candle? Where can I get one??? :D
ReplyDeleteLovely little things to celebrate. I'm glad for the weekend too! :)
ReplyDeleteI only wear reading glasses...and I have about a dozen pair scattered around the house in places I normally find a need for them. Still have to go looking though. :)
ReplyDeleteI love finding new scents that make me happy. Especially since I have such a sensitive nose. Yummy smelling candles and catching up on some rest sound like great celebrations!
ReplyDeleteRunning out of time is a symptom all writers seem to share. Congrats on the new glasses and hope to see them in your next post.
ReplyDeleteHurray for new glasses! As a glasses-wearer myself, I can easily see why you'd want to celebrate that... :)
ReplyDeleteThat really sucks about the sore throat, though. Hope it's been feeling better since you posted this!
It's always good to get new glasses and update your prescription!
ReplyDeleteFairy dust sounds inspiring. Maybe I should get a candle like that. ;0)
