This week I am celebrating the honour of receiving this award -
Many of you already know Al, our dear dragon friend. He held a very special party on his blog last weekend. It was a blast, my head is still spinning from dancing on the table with a bunch of his dwarves! I understand there might even be the odd guest still lurking around so feel free to head on over and see if there is any food left. Click HERE to be transported in the blink of a dragon's eye!
How amazing is that?
My name in dragon fire - purple dragon fire!
Thanks Al
In other news, went to see 'Catching Fire,' we thought it was brilliant. Managed to enjoy both some Indian and Chinese food this week.
Thanks to the lovely Viklit for hosting our weekly hop!
Happy weekend everyone
Al's celebration party is still going strong!!
ReplyDeleteWas quite the party indeed, had a look at his nook
ReplyDeleteI saw Catching Fire on Tuesday, it was amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteAlex - It was a top party!
DeletePat - Glad you joined the fun!
Laura - Glad you enjoyed it too!
Hi Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteAl and that award. Such a warm, perhaps fiery demonstration of the celebration we share with our friend, Father Dragon.
A fitting name to the film you watched in theme with Al's celebration :)
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Gary
Sounds like a very happy time, just what I need.
ReplyDeleteAl's post was extremely sweet :D
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Catching Fire was brilliant, I really liked it!
Klahanie - Wow yes I hadn't made that connection!
DeleteCarole Anne - Wishing you the best :)
SK - Yay another fan!
Al's celebration is going strong. What a lovely award to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful award. Definitely something to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteRachna - He's a party dragon!
DeleteKate - I love it, thanks for stopping by :)
You are very welcome, Suzanne. The dwarves learned new dancing steps and you are right, the party is still on, hahaha. I must go check Catching Fire. Sounds like my kind of movie. Dragon Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI always knew you were a party dragon! Those dwarves are surprising nifty although my toes were trodden on a couple of times!
DeleteAh! I missed a celebration? Guess I better go catch the tail end, eh? (And hold on for dear life--especially if we take flight!)
ReplyDeleteHaha yes hang on there, Crystal!
DeleteVery exciting for you, Suzanne! You have a lovely thing to celebrate. Your name looks lovely in lights! D Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI loved Al's party! I didn't even mind that my gummy bears disappeared and someone took a joyride on my camel. It was all so much fun, and his singling out of every person really touched my heart. <3
ReplyDeleteLike Crystal, I am heading over now. Glad you enjoyed the movie.
ReplyDeleteDeanie - You too!
DeleteLexa - Now I wonder who got those bears!
Rhonda - It's worth checking out.
Congrats on the award--that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteAlso, glad to hear you enjoyed Catching Fire! I don't know anything about that franchise, but a lot of people seem to be loving this sequel...
Your name looks brilliant in purple dragon fire! My 14 year old son went to see Catching Fire and said it was 'a bit boring' - although I'm still trying to find something that he doesn't find boring!
ReplyDelete'Heather - I got hooked through reading the books.
DeleteAnnalisa - That's teenagers for you! In his defence it was quite a long movie.
'Dancing on the table with a bunch of his dwarfs'? Now that sounds like a party not to be missed and a late one, at that.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award too. Love the design and words. On the whole you seemed to have had a lovely week with different foods, fun and a film (if it's a film or theatre as not heard of it before). Now it's time to kick off those shoes, relax and get re-charged. Have a good weekend mate.
I arrived late to the party, cause there wasn't an internet connection. :-(
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to watch Catching Fire next week.
ReplyDeletehope you can visit my Celebrate Small Things
RPD - Thanks for the visit. I recommend everyone should try dancing on a table at least once!
DeleteMisha - That's a shame but you have been busy moving into your new home. Happy weekend.
Michie - Hope you enjoy it :)
Congrats! And boy, do you deserve it!
ReplyDeleteOooh yummy foods ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne - Father Dragon did everyone wonders - and I love your sparkling awards ...
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you had a happy time at the cinema and then those meals out ... cheers Hilary
Thanks Suzanne, hope to have the time to continue with my papier-mache
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cool award! Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteI saw Catching Fire, too, and thought it was really good.
Congrats on that cool dragon award. I love the badge with your name on it. Can't wait to see Catching Fire with my son.
