Celebrate the small things!

Thanks to Viklit @ Scribblings of an Aspiring Author for hosting our weekly celebrations!

Over the last week I have finished another round of edits on my current manuscript. I hesitate to say final edits because I'm sure there will be more work to do at some point! But for now I'm feeling good about it.

The sun is still here and we have had lots of strawberries off our plants in the garden. The most we have ever had I think.

For the second week running I have managed to fit in a yoga session and a trip to the swimming pool. I'm sure my body is grateful!

And finally, just because she is so cute and can literally sleep anywhere!

Have a great weekend everyone!

  6. Oh how I envy that adorable cat and her ability to sleep anywhere...(see my post today to learn more about that)

Our strawberries are in and my youngest loves going out to the garden everyday to collect! Most of the strawberries don't find there way back to the house, LOL

  7. I wonder sometimes if I am ever really done with edits LOL. I am so jealous over home grown strawberries! We do have a nice farm nearby with u-pick strawberries and tomatoes, but I would love to have some in my own backyard. Happy Friday!

  28. You're almost there now, and editing can drive you mad if you're not too careful. Edit after edit after edit if you know what I mean. I'm sure all will be well in the end though.
I'm a dog person but what an adorable looking cat.

  32. Hi Suzanne,

I'm terribly late and the weekend is over and it's nearly the next weekend. I'm struggling to keep up. Sorry about that.

Well done to your editing. Something I might try sometime. Sunshine, strawberries and yoga. And the sunshine continues.

    Be well, my friend.
