Celebrate the small things

Hello Friday, so nice to see you again! Sorry I didn't post last week. I got struck down with some sort of bug over the weekend and I think I have been fighting it off most of the week. I think (hope!) I am over the worst so that is really my first celebration of the week!

Spending most of last Sunday in bed did have its advantages though as I took my laptop with me and knocked out a couple of thousand words on my WIP. Every cloud and all that .....

I am going to a Abba night on Saturday with some girlfriends. It should be fun and I can get in my Dancing Queen groove!

The weather is getting very autumnal. Time to get out some warmer clothes. I love snuggling in my comfy sweaters. Trying to hold off on the central heating as long as possible though!

    1. Well it never actually got too hot here, but I know how wearing the high temps can be every day.

  5. Hi Suzanne - certainly hope that dreaded bug has gone. It's lovely now - let's hope their promise of an Indian Summer end to early Autumn is right! I have to admit I sleep if I'm feeling rotten - but enjoy this time and particularly that Abba concert - should be fun ... cheers Hilary

  12. Sorry to hear you were sick, but wow, all that writing done. Congrats on your progress! Beautiful photo! Our colors haven't started to turn much yet, but I'm sure they will over the next couple of weeks, now that the weather's been cooler. Have fun with ABBA night. I always liked their music.
