I'm celebrating a busy and productive writing week.
- I have outlined and planned a new writing project.
- Written about 10,000 words of said project
- And set up a new writing space in the spare bedroom. I think this is going to really help me over the coming weeks as I return to the day job after the summer holidays. I can leave all my things out and know they are going to be there when I return! It is quieter and away from the general hustle and bustle of the rest of the house and with a nice view from the window. Only problem now is what to do when guests want to stay!
This post is part of the weekly celebrations hop.

Happy weekend
Wow, so much productivity! Yay you! I'm impressed by all the words you managed to write in a single week. Best of luck with this new project! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather. The words have been flowing well this week.
Delete10,000 words - that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteNow, just don't invite anyone over...
Lol! Hopefully they'll be happy to sleep with a big table in the room!
DeleteI love little writing and reading nooks. I can spend way too much time looking at them on the Internet. =) And congrats on 10K, that's great!!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what having a special place can do to the creativity. Thanks for stopping by Leandra.
DeleteSo happy you had fun Suzanne and thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deanie.
DeleteSo happy you had fun Suzanne and thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDelete10,000 words is awesome indeed. Lock the door, the guests will stay away lol
ReplyDeletehehe! Thanks Pat!
DeleteHuge congrats on the outlining and the 10k! Wow - that's awesome! And yay for having a separate space for your writing. When I got one it helped me a lot. Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think it was a good move. Happy weekend to you too, Lexa. Glad it's a bit cooler for you.
DeleteYay to getting so much writing done! Wow. And the writing space sounds wonderful. I'm trying to get mine organized at the moment and see if it helps too. Enjoy the next week!
ReplyDeleteHooray for productivity! Hope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteSame here! I've set up a new writing space and I'm planning a new book. There's something about September for fresh starts and good intentions. Sadly I haven't come up with any words yet - so well done on the 10,000 xx
ReplyDeleteHope your new space is working well. I'm sure the words will flow real soon. xx
DeleteCongrats on getting some massive writing accomplished. I used to scrapbook, but stopped because it was such a hassle to clean everything up and take it out again. I agree, having a subdued and out of the way space for yourself is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's much more productive if you can leave everything out and know it will stay there! Thanks for the visit.
DeleteExcellent news on your progress with your projects.Hopefully many more chunks of 10k words will come while you're enjoying that new writing space. My home office serves me well for writing, but I'd love to carve out a dedicated painting space.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeff. I hope you manage to find a space for your art.
DeleteYou need a dedicated writing space, so the guest thing will work itself out, I'm sure. You've already accomplished so much.
ReplyDeleteI've had a number of writing spaces over the years, including the spare bedroom, which works if you don't have a lot of guests. It just needs to be a dedicated 'private' space to work.
ReplyDeleteWell done, you have been busy. My writing space is in what used to be the spare bedroom. No problem, I visit other people in their homes instead of inviting them to mine!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed. Outlined AND up to 10,000 words. I tired just reading that. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteYou'll probably really enjoy your new writing space. Great job on the 10,000 words!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for all your visits and all your lovely comments and encouragements. It is always much appreciated :)
