Celebrate the Small Things

So glad this blog hop is continuing thanks to the lovely Lexa Cain and co-hosts L.G.Keltner and Katie

I would just like to take the opportunity to thank Viklit for being a wonderful host for the past two years. It is such a simple way to remind ourselves of all those small celebrations that are so easily forgotten. Why not join in and let the positive thoughts shine through! For full details and to sign up just head over to Lexa's blog.

This week I am celebrating;

* Getting back into exercise after the Christmas break. I have been doing yoga for a few years now and find it really beneficial. I only took up aerobiking last Autumn but it is good for the legs! I went on Wednesday and I can certainly feel it!

* Central heating and thick jumpers. Brrrrr .....

* I have planned a writing session for this evening. Looking forward to a couple of quiet hours to work on my ms editing.

Happy weekend everyone.

  1. The linky I have is incorrect - I'm just now stopping by.
Exercise is good for me too. I take long walks around my property. Yes to central heating! Have a great weekend and I hope you get that editing time, as planned. Thanks, Suzanne.

  2. Sounds like you've made a good start to the New Year already. I haven't got any further than watching all the early morning joggers as I sit and drink my coffee. But I watch them with admiration - and the vague intention of moving my lazyass self at some point...

    1. In my opinion jogging is a spectator sport, I don't think my knees would cope with it!

  8. A planned writing session, warm jumper, and exercise. Sounds really good. I sometimes do yoga with Wii Fit Plus. Mostly use my treadmill.

  14. It is time to take control over ourselves again instead of the holidays saying who goes.

  16. That's great about the exercise! I should probably attempt some of that myself, but...well, I'm lazy. LOL.

  17. Without exercise I become a blob of inactivity--mentally as well as physically. It's so a part of my life that I can't imagine living without it. Good for you for re-establishing that active part of your routine.

  18. Hi Suzanne,

A healthy mind and body. You exercise your writing and you exercise your overall well being. Well done, you. Good thing, speaking of central heating, that the prices are being lowered.

    Take care, my kind friend.

    Gary :)

  19. My only exercise is walking the dog for an hour a day. I power-walk though, so I feel it's at least something. It's not enough, but it's something. :)
