Friday (really?) Celebrations

I am running late this week; to be honest I sort of forgot it was Friday! That happens when you are not at regular work, the days all get mixed up, but the upside of that is that everyday this week has seen writing action. Yay for that! I have done some editing, drafted and re-drafted a synopsis and even started something new. Something I hadn't been planning at all but a spark ignited and I just had to go with it. Love my fickle muse! I've written a couple thousand words today so really happy with that.

Am making the most of it because there are only a few days left of the summer break now and I will be back at the day job by the middle of next week.

Thanks to Viklit and her lovely co-hosts.

  4. Good for you! I've written a good 5,000 words on a new idea while I iron out some wrinkles with an almost finished project.

  6. Noooo - you can't leave us in suspense like this! What could you be working on that's taken you so much by surprise when your comfort zone is already full of unicorns? A gruesome true-life murder? Steamy 50 shades-style erotica? Metaphysical poetry? What? What?

    1. Sorry about the suspense, going to see how it all works out over the next week or two before I give too much away!! hehe I love to turn the suspense up! The unicorns are already watching over my shoulder, unicorns don't like to be ignored! You can rest assured I am not writing anything in the style of 50 shades *blushes just thinking about it*

  14. Hi Suzanne .. yes losing track of days as Annalisa mentions is good - but a 'shock' when normality demands to be let back in! Glad you've been productive and now have a new project ... have a great weekend - cheers Hilary

  16. I know what you mean--since I started freelance writing full-time, I never know what day of the week it is. Mondays are when my email inbox is full of emails from clients and Saturdays and Sundays it's quiet, so that's the only difference! Congratulations on getting so much done!
