Celebrate the small things

Hi everyone, just a few lines to let you know I am back from my blogging break. Had a lovely week with the family. There was little internet connection where we were staying so went 'cold turkey' on all things social media related. Apt actually as we were holidaying in Turkey except it was anything but cold!! So I'm celebrating spending time relaxing with family, trying some lovely new foods and swimming in warm seas. I'll try and catch up with you all over the coming days, in between loads of washing etc. To new followers, thank you and welcome.

Have a great weekend

  2. Welcome back. One of my FB friends is thinking of giving up on social media altogether and going back to good old letter writing.

    1. I still like to write the occasional letter. Usually to older relatives/friends who still prefer it that way. I think it is an art that many are forgetting how to do.

  8. Hi Suzanne,

Have been waiting for your celebrated return to blogsville. Cold turkey in Turkey. I like that. Always good to have a vacation. Get rejuvenated.

My son is on holiday in Crete. Which means I'm now on holiday at home.

A peaceful weekend to you, Suzanne.

  13. You were right across the Mediterranean from me! I'm glad you had a good time. Turkey has some good food, although I prefer Lebanese or Egyptian more. Welcome home! :-)

    1. We did make the comment that if we swam far enough out to sea we would indeed reach Egypt!
