And, as it's Friday, it's time to celebrate the past week's achievements. This week I am celebrating my acting debut! Now, before Angelina Jolie starts shaking in her heels, I have to admit the part I played was the back end of a cow in the school play! I hope it wasn't typecasting! It was fun though.

The strawberries are still fruiting and the sun is still shining so, although I haven't completed much actual writing this week, I am feeling good.

Happy weekend everyone!

  1. Everyone has to start somewhere. I bet even Angelina Jolie had to play some pretty terrible (and unseen) roles before she made it big. She may even have been a cow's rear end at some stage.

And fresh strawberries are always something to celebrate! Especially if you have some champagne to drown them in.

  3. You made me laugh with your typecasting comment!! Congrats on your debut and I'm sure your cow's back end was a brilliant part of the play. :D

Congratulations on your acting debut, even if it was the back-end of a cow! Angelina Jolie watch-out! And sometimes we need a break from writing to get our heads together.

  10. Congrats on the award! I'm glad the sun and strawberries are all in party mode.

The back half of a cow? Really? I don't believe it -- you'll have to post a picture to prove it to us!!! :-)

  11. Congratulations on your blogger award and don't worry about playing the back end of a cow. Things can only look up from there and we all have to start from somewhere. Look at the seed and how it grows into a tree. Angelina's had her time and she is making room for you. I did chuckle though.

And apparently, sisters are doing it for themselves. Well done on the award and to those you forwarded it to.

Time to have a strawberry. Angelina Jolie should be very worried.

A lovely weekend to you and try to stay cool!

  30. Judging by all these upbeat comments, cows are good--from any end! If we don't accept the parts we are offered, how will we get up that ladder? Or, in your case, that udder...sorry, couldn't resist.
    Sincere congratulations!

  31. I love fresh strawberries!

And the only time I would worry is if I would type cast as a horse's rear end.
